It is so unplanned !

Yesterday, I went to bndar with my buddy Yus, and the plan was this... to get my harley's battery and then go back home instantly. Ironically we were not heading straight for the battery but to make a stop at Hendry's music store somewhere at Rimba, it was so unplanned.. the idea was "just browsing" !.. the guitars, the amplifiers, pedals etc etc you name it., all eye-catching !. Entering to such store is like entering to another realm.. translation : it's heaven ohh yeahhh !.. ya know it is sort of obsession towards alat bunyi2an dan yang sewaktu dengannya !. It took like more than half and hour just to browse in the small store... staring, looking, wondering etc!. But before we leave the store something captured my buddy's eyes.. a pedal board (?), a box to place guitar pedals.. it costs for 2 hundred buxx and I assume "not bad, good price".. he was astonished to the pedal board display, and keep asking the price which I doubt he must be mistaken the price, I have to clear it out that the 2 hundred buxx is without the pedals. But then he called for assistant to get the pedal board and to my surprise he then shifted to the pedals area and start to allocate the board with six pedal effects.. kaya kaya.. we tried various pedals just to get for a right combination. Thats was awesome... We have the opportunity to try various kind of guitar effects.. and after like half hour of testing, decision were made and so he got six pedals to play with his guitar and I so envy him...

Came home and tried the effects stright away.. making some adjustments (looking for the right arrangement of pedals, tone setting and bla bla) then I have the opportunity to try it with my Epi SG... oh meyyynnn... I love the crunchy sound the most, crystal clear and meyakinkan hehehe.. another thing I like about this pedal board is you dont have to bear for many cables and adapters and then connect them bla bla everytime you wanna play your guitar... troublesome!. Since I am relaying to 'single pedal effects' I guess it is a convincing gear. Well cant wait for mengejem..

The 11th BIIBBF..

It was a relief after the president announced the closing of 11th BIIBBF yesterday in BSB. The three days event was worth the struggle !, after months of doing preparations and stuffs to make the event flawless and most important to met everyone's satisfaction. Personally I m glad to see most of the friends from different clubs came down and mingle among others. It was a remarkable event since there were about 18 registered clubs (to name some ; Thunder Riders MG, Black Eagle, Independent MG, BBC, Nakhoda, Miri Bikers, Sport Bikers, Kembara, Temburong Bikers, Sabah Big Bikes, LA Riders and more..) attended in the event, as well as numbers of motorcycle gangs (Rabel Angels MG, Motorheads 13 MG, Oil Town RC, Motoheads MG,...) and individual bikers (freelance) made the festival even merrier.

It was the 3rd BIIBBF hosted by Pemoda and I must say this year BIIBBF was kinda phenomenal, this is my second time being as one of the BIIBBF's secretariat and personally I was shock to see the number of participants increasing at the last minute. It was all unexpected and as for me it indicates positive support to the BIIBBF in the future. I would love to see BIIBBF become as one of the annual bike fest in this region for all bikers to die for (why not ?!). What made this year festival more interesting was the booths from sponsors and bike clubs, bikers were not only sit and stare others' bike but to get various merchandises offered especially from Independent, Indo Rocky, Q.C.B and H.O.G as well.

Perhaps the warm fest started on friday at Riverview hotel, a welcoming dinner to all riders. The function was just nice. It was the time I saw a white Titan at glance cruising in to the parking lot. Man it was breathtaking. I was busy snapping pictures since I was also incharge in Media.. thus made me rush up and down from ground to 1st floor and to the 2nd floor. I dont have the opportunity to know the owner ?!... whoever you are, your bike rawkk the nite man!. Anyway the purpose of welcoming dinner was to serve all riders and to give brief infos on activities for the next 2 days, as well as safety briefing. The function took for about 2 hours as we understood most of the non local riders were exhausted after their long journey.. I believe they were really looking forward to their accommodation.. to rest or to seek for happy hour lols.

The second day was the most fatigue of all.. started by clearing secretariat room at Riverview hotel, then went straight to Yayasan for bike show and group tour to Royal Regalia, to SOAS and to Kg. Ayer by boat. Followed by moving the troop to Jalan Sultan at the city, I must say the nite function was a blast even there was something missing.. no live band nor music since it is a month of Rejab where we Bruneian respect whenever the holy day is impending. It was not a big issue anyway.. music or no music, all riders seem having good time at Jalan Sultan, it made the city glows in some extend. Calm weather, no rain as it usually do... Alhamdullilah. It was the time where I can see the glowing V twin engines from Black Eagles.. it super awesome.. made their bike looks elegant at nite.. not to mention the stunning black flame harley.. as well as other radical creative bikes from RAMG, Independent MG and Oil-Town RC. Perhaps those modish bikes must be placed on stage representing each club and let the outsiders to vote ?!

The third day.. the restless hours, it started at the very morning with a big convoy to Wasan and back to Jalan Sultan for sport and fun (tug of war, slow rides, bike wash, arm wrestling..) where all participants were having good times.. and all the participants were very supporting. The day was hot and striking then came down the rain in the middle of the day but the activity proceeds.. thats the spirits huh ! hahah.. Anyhow, some bikers from the neighbor were ready to proceed their long journey heading back home.. Von voyage brothers and see ya all in the next 12th BIIBBF in Sabah. Hopefully the next BIIBBF will be more awesome..

The festival ended around 3 pm, clearly it was exhausting yet fun especially in trying to get all bikers to gather in one place and sharing their common interest that is "Big Bike". Kudos to all committees for the hard works especially to our vice president Mr. Pg. Redzuan for all your guides, local and non-local clubs for the warm support and to make the festival a huge success, all the motorcycle gangs and individuals who came down during the event, thanks for your never ending support and cooperation, collaborations & sponsorships and to everyone who made this festival possible. It is what BIIBBF is all about !. More pics... but maybe next time..

The rainfalls

My astro starts to scramble ! "Services currently not available"! goshhh... its raining here n I guess it indicates raining session for the rest of the months, the rains falls heavily since last few weeks.. and its June ! Thats why it is called rain forest.. oh well it is a bless. I have nothing to do, web browsing, blog hopping and now I switched for blog updates regarding Miri Bike Week I attended last nite. It was a great event hosted by our neighbor, Miri, Sarawak. Most bikers from Brunei, Borneo and some from Peninsula were coming down for support. Most fellow bikers came down as early as on Friday while me has the opportunity to go down to Miri last nite by car!.. Why car? well it is not that Im so lazy to ride but it is due to my approval to leave Brunei at 4:30 and furthermore I was accompanying my buddies. There were some good bike merchandises and that was actually what we were heading for.. the club booths! unfortunately most of of em were out of stock ! hence, has the opportunity to talk with some of the bike clubs.. It was raining after an hour or so... and what else we can do but to seek for shelter and teh tarik panas lols. This bike week should be remain as what it is.. bike show, bike competition, live band, club booths and should be held as an annual event. Looking forward for 11th BIIBBF and see you guys in Brunei this June! Ride your heavy metal !... \m/
